Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution of online information and podcast audio files. Raymarine offers these feeds to you for use in your newsreader or web log. RSS feeds include headlines, summaries and links back to information on the Raymarine website.
Podcasting refers to an audio or video show that can be downloaded from the internet. Podcasts can be listened to on any MP3 player or on your computer (they're not just for iPods!).
Raymarine's podcasts are free and you most likely already have the software needed to listen installed on your computer. Freely available programs like iTunes, RealPlayer and QuickTime can all play-back podcasts.
