RayControl transforms your tablet into a full function Raymarine MFD. Remotely control and view electronic charting, sonar, radar, and even thermal night vision, right from your tablet.

 

RayControl emulates Raymarine MFD’s with touch screen interaction and a virtual slide out MFD keyboard. The slide out virtual keyboard gives you control of all MFD functions and the virtual uni-controller allows you rotate through menus and adjustments effortlessly.

 

Please be aware that some additional confirmations are now included (associated with autopilot control) to prevent false activation.

Recommended Requirements

iOS Devices = Best performance achieved on iPad 2 and better
Android/Kindle Fire = Best performance achieved with 1GHz processor and better and running 2.2.2. or better

 

We do not recommend using RayControl on a Smartphone. Touch items on the MFD interface are too small for reliable and accurate operation when displayed on the relatively small phone screen.

 

Also requires your multifunction display to have v4.27 or higher software – download the latest software available for free here.
 

Getting Started
Download the RayControl app, and then install it on your device. You should ensure you have access to a Wi-Fi network when initially installing to enable verification of the app.

 

Then connect to your Multifunction Display via Wi-Fi. When the Wi-Fi connection is established, launch the app (see operators manual for Wi-Fi setup details). 

 

From the Homescreen select SET UP, then SYSTEM SETTINGS, followed by WIRELESS CONNECTIONS. Scroll down to MOBILE APPS and select REMOTE CONTROL. You should now see the same image on your mobile device as you do on your Raymarine c-Series or e-Series multifunction display.

 

User Note, autopilot activation/deactivation is not possible via a mobile device
